Before your first visit

The questionseveryone asks.

Any vaccination records you have, a note of what your pet eats, and the name of the last clinic that saw them. If you have none of that, come anyway — we request records for you and it takes about a day.

Rabies is required by law, plus DHPP for dogs or FVRCP for cats. Everything after that — leptospirosis, Lyme, feline leukaemia — depends on where your animal goes and who they meet. We go through it together at the first exam rather than selling a bundle.

Call the clinic line. It forwards to the on-call vet until 10pm on weekdays, and the vet who answers can see your file. After 10pm, Bayview Emergency on 4th is fifteen minutes away — we share records with them, so they open to the same history.

Yes, and they are free with any wellness visit. We weigh, score body condition, and write a plan around food you can buy at the shop down the road — not a prescription line you would have to order from us every month.

Nail trims and ear cleaning, yes — say so when you book and we hold the extra ten minutes. A full groom needs its own slot, but we schedule it the same week so it stays one trip instead of two.
  • Transferring from another clinic? We request your records — no charge, no forms.
