Questions

Before you book, and the week after.

The six questions we answer every day, and one figure for the question behind most of them.

After P–01, no: you can go straight back to work. After the lactic peel, expect a pink flush for a day and fine flaking around day 3. After microneedling, one to two days of redness. Fig. 2 shows the peel hour by hour.

Lactic acid at 30%, buffered to pH 3.2, on the skin for three to five minutes and then neutralised. Nothing else. The percentage and the pH are printed on your treatment sheet.

Yes. Stop it five days before a peel or microneedling, and tell us the strength you use. For P–01 and P–04 you do not need to stop.

Texture usually changes after one. Uneven tone takes a course of three peels, four weeks apart. We photograph your skin under the same light at every visit, so you are not relying on memory.

P–01 and P–04 are. We do not perform the 30% peel or microneedling during pregnancy, and we will tell you so at the reading, not at the desk.

$40 for 15 minutes, credited in full against your first treatment. On a first visit it is already inside the 75 minutes.

The first seven days after a lactic peel

Warm and tight

Like a mild sunburn. Cool water only tonight, and no make-up.

Pink, a little shiny

SPF 50 in the morning and nothing active: no retinol, no acids, no scrubs.

Fine flaking

It peaks around now. Do not pick. Moisturise twice a day.

Settled

The flaking is over for most skin. Retinol can come back, every other night.

Typical for P–02. Your own sheet is written for your skin.
