Red apple and letter blocks

One teacher to four toddlers, and one to six children from age three. Every lead teacher holds an early-years degree, and the whole staff renews first aid and CPR each September.

Doors open at 8:00, song circle at 9:00, garden and projects until lunch at 11:45. Toddlers nap from 12:30 to 2:30 in their own cots; older children rest for 45 minutes with books, then play until pickup.

Our cook makes lunch and two snacks on site from a four-week menu we send home each month. We are nut-free, and every allergy plan is signed by you and your doctor before the first day.

We plan two weeks: short visits with you in the room, then a morning without you, then full days. Most children settle in eight to ten days, and you get a photo and a note every afternoon.

Everything on a normal day: meals and snacks, nappies and wipes, art supplies and outdoor kit. The only extras are the late room until 6 pm and the spring trip to the farm.

Book a visit and add your child with a start date — there is no fee. Places go in date order with siblings first, and we confirm by email at least eight weeks ahead.
