Most of our clients never move out. Here is the rhythm we hold to every weekday, then the six questions every family asks before week one.
A day on your site
Monday to Friday · no weekend work
8:00
Crew in, floors covered, dust walls checked.
9 to 3
The loud hours: saws and sanders stay in here.
3:30
Clean-down: tools away, your rooms opened up.
4:00
Your daily note: done today, due tomorrow.
Yes, and nine families out of ten do. We seal the work zone with zip-up dust walls, keep one bathroom and a place to cook running at all times, and tell you a week ahead about the two or three days when water or power goes off for a few hours.
Loud work happens between nine and three, Monday to Friday, and never at weekends. Demolition is the worst of it and usually lasts three days, which we schedule with you so it does not land on exams, a newborn or a week of working from home.
On day one we set up a temporary kitchen in another room: your fridge, a two-ring hob, a microwave and a utility sink. It is not glamorous, but you will not be eating takeaway for six weeks.
One key, held by your site lead, in a lockbox you choose the code for. Everyone who walks in is on our payroll and background-checked, and you get their names and photos before the first morning.
We stop, photograph it and call you the same day with a fixed price to put it right. Nothing extra is built or billed until you have said yes in writing, and about one job in four finds nothing at all.
Ten percent holds your start date, then four equal payments tied to milestones you can see: demolition done, rough-in inspected, cabinets in, walk-through signed. The last payment is due only after the punch list is closed.
