Platen Typewriter Supply

A letter from the bench
We are three people and one long bench in an old dairy. Since 2011 we have bought tired typewriters from attics, schools and newsrooms and put them back to work.
Every machine is stripped, cleaned, re-rubbered and then typed on for a full week before it gets a price. If a key sticks on day six, it goes back on the bench.
We post to forty-one countries in a double-walled box, and every machine is guaranteed for twelve months. Ribbons for it, we will always have.
Yours, clattering — Ines, Tom & Wren
P.S. The red marks are Wren’s. She proofreads everything, including us.
On the bench this week. Gone by Friday.
