Five musicians. Four cities. One record that refuses to quiet down. The Obsidian tour lands where the noise started — and it's louder this time.
We formed in a Chicago basement in 2019 with three chords and a pact — no ballads, no apologies, no permission slips. Four records and six hundred shows later, the pact holds. Obsidian Riot is the noise we made when quiet stopped working, and we still write it the same way: loud enough to carry a room, mean enough to mean it.
Five players. Five signatures. The vocalist leads the charge — the rhythm section keeps the building standing.
Four albums in six years. None of them apologize.
2019 · DEBUT · Six tracks recorded in a basement over three weekends. Sold out the first pressing the week it dropped.
2021 · LP 2 · Recorded between cancelled tours. Louder, meaner, and the first record radio wouldn't touch — which is how we knew it worked.
2023 · LP 3 · Nine tracks. Eleven encores. The record that put us on the main stage for the first time, and we haven't stepped down since.
2025 · LP 4 · The current record and the one the tour takes its name from. Pre-sale pulled two-hundred-thousand copies before the drop.
